TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Players will have the opportunity to choose between a Scramble or Better Ball format.
Scramble (Four-Person): Each player tees off, and the team captain selects the best shot. All players then play their next shot from that spot, continuing this process until the hole is completed. Teams will be divided into four flights based on the combined handicaps of all four players.
Better Ball: Each player plays their own ball for all 18 holes. The team score will be determined by the best gross score and the best net score from the foursome. A maximum score of net double bogey applies, and players will compete at 80% of their full August handicap.
HANDICAPS
All players are required to submit a USGA Handicap Index.
COURSE ATTIRE
Torrey Pines Golf Course requires the following attire: soft spike golf shoes, slacks or mid-length shorts, and a collared shirt.
TEES
Scramble Format – Ladies will play from the yellow tees and men will play from the green tees.
Better Ball Format – Ladies will play from the yellow tees and men will play from the green tees.
*Men/women over the age of 60 whose age plus handicap equals 90 or above may play from the white tees.
