Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY FOR A CHANCE TO WIN $25 OFF ON SCRIPPS MATERNITY CLASSES.
1. Eligibility. *The $25 off on Scripps Maternity Classes Drawing (“Drawing”) is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry.
Physicians are not eligible to enter this drawing.
2. How to Enter. To participate in the Drawing, complete entry form on Scripps.org.
The Entry Period for the Drawing begins at 12:01 a.m. PST on the indicated start date and ends at 11:59 p.m. PST on the indicated end date. Entrants must submit entries into the Drawing before 11:59 p.m. PST on the indicated end date to be eligible to win the prize.
One entry per person. You may not submit multiple entries and you are only eligible to win one prize per person. Scripps Health, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process or the operation of the Drawing, or who otherwise violates these rules, and to remove such person’s entry. By entering, entrants accept and agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules.
3. Random selection and notification. Of the people that have entered the Drawing on Scripps.org, one (1) winner will be randomly chosen.
Winner will be notified by private message e-mail on or about the date of the close of the Drawing. The prize will be sent via email to the winner. Winners may be required to complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and, except where prohibited, Liability/Publicity Release, in the form provided by Scripps Health, within 10 days of attempted notification in order to claim prize. If the winner cannot be contacted via private e-mail, and does not respond as directed within 10 days of attempted notification, refuses the prize or is ineligible to accept the prize, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. All prizes claimed in accordance with the Official Rules will be awarded.
4. Prizes and Odds.
Prize: One prize will be awarded, consisting of one (1) coupon for Scripps Maternity Classes (valued at $25.00).
Total prize value is $25. No prize substitutions or cash equivalents. Prize is non-transferable. Prize may not be redeemed for cash or combined with other offers. All taxes and any expenses in connection with the receipt and use of prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Your odds of winning are based on the number of entries that we receive during Drawing period. For instance, if we receive 500 entries, your chance of winning would be 1 in 500.
5. Use of Winner’s Name. By entering this Drawing, entrant agrees to (a) grant to Scripps Health a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, right and royalty-free license to use entrant’s first and last name on the Internet, including on Scripps Health’s and/or its agent’s websites, or for any other purposes in connection with this Drawing; (b) release Scripps Health and its agents from any and all liability with respect to participation in the Drawing and the prizes awarded herein; © be bound by the Official Rules; and (d) be contacted by Scripps Health by mail, email, and/or telephone concerning this Drawing. By accepting a prize, winner consents to the use of his or her name for promotional and advertising purposes in all media worldwide without compensation to entrant (except where prohibited by law). All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
6. Applicable Law, Limitation of Liability. This Drawing is governed by California law and all claims must be resolved in San Diego, California. Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this promotion but in no event attorneys’ fees; and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
