Scripps Clinic Division of Neurology

The Scripps Clinic Division of Neurology offers subspecialty expertise and a full-range of services to people with routine and complex neurological disorders, including the following:

  • Surgical treatment programs, including deep brain stimulation, for patients with movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, tremor and dystonia
  • Stroke treatment and prevention provided by a multidisciplinary team of vascular neurologists, interventional radiologists, cardiologists and vascular surgeons
  • Immune modulating therapies and plasmapheresis for peripheral neuropathies, myasthenia gravis, multiple sclerosis and other immune mediated neurological diseases
  • Botulinum toxin injections for treating neurological conditions such as headache and dystonia
  • Clinical trials giving patients an opportunity to try new therapies and participate in research efforts to find better medications and treatments for neurological disorders
  • Complementary therapies, such as specially-designed exercise classes for people with movement disorders, provided by Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine
