KUSI TV News’ popular “World of Wonder” segment recently featured a behind-the-scenes look at the Scripps Proton Therapy Center. Reporter Dave Scott interviewed the center’s medical director, Carl Rossi, MD, to explore the unique role of proton therapy in treating cancer patients. With the latest pencil-beam scanning technology available in every treatment room, the Scripps center is the most technologically advanced facility of its kind in the nation.
