Pediatrician Allison Casciato, MD, provides comprehensive primary care for newborns, children and adolescents, focusing on preventive medicine. Dr. Casciato loves primary care because she has the opportunity to watch children grow and develop over time.
She is committed to building meaningful relationships with families and parents and partnering with them to help children grow into healthy adults.
Dedicated to education about healthy lifestyles, Dr. Casciato believes teaching children at a young age to be stewards of their own health can prevent issues as they grow. Development, injury prevention, nutrition, exercise, sleep and the benefits of vaccines are topics she covers in depth. She also has expertise in breastfeeding.
Dr. Casciato is passionate about advocating for children with developmental delays and special health care needs. She understands the importance of ensuring they are receiving appropriate and needed services and accommodations in school and will often communicate directly with specialists, therapists, counselors and teachers to coordinate care.
Dr. Casciato stays fit and healthy with running and enjoys cooking, baking and spending time with her husband, son and their English bulldog.
