As an obstetrician and gynecologist (OB-GYN), Vivian Ellis, DO, practices the full scope of obstetrics and gynecology. She has special clinical interests in routine and high-risk pregnancies, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, and gynecologic surgery, including minimally invasive techniques. Although experienced in gynecologic surgery, she believes in exhausting medical management before considering surgical intervention.

Dr. Ellis’ passion for her practice is evident in the way she treats and cares for her patients. She feels it is a privilege to get to know her patients on a personal level and is attentive to their needs, giving them the time and freedom to address any concerns and ask questions. She also believes in educating her patients and offering support, especially for new mothers. She treats each patient as an individual and creates treatment and birth plans that are specifically tailored to each patient’s unique needs, while always remaining focused on quality care.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Ellis participates in clinical trials, with a special interest in stem cell research. Throughout her career, she has been the recipient of many awards and accolades, including being named as a Top Doctor by the Consumer Research Council of America.

When she is not caring for patients, she stays busy with a diverse range of hobbies that help her to continually learn and meet new people. From her travels to Paris, to her love of music, ballet and sports, she takes time to enjoy life and the simple things it has to offer. To add to her diverse list of hobbies, she has her own signature fragrance, which she would eventually like to market and donate all proceeds to preventing preeclampsia.
