Candace Curlee is a certified nurse-midwife, providing prenatal and well woman care to women of all ages. She has been practicing midwifery for over 35 years and is a 24 year veteran of the US Navy, achieving the rank of captain. She is familiar with the challenges of military family life and enjoys caring for military families.
She believes in promoting wellness throughout pregnancy, labor and birth. Her belief is that knowledge is power and promotes active participation of informed decision-making for women and their family members.
In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, including hiking, biking and skiing. She is also a dog lover.
Candace attended the University of Colorado, where she obtained her Master of Science in maternal-child nursing. She also completed a post graduate primary care nurse practitioner program, specializing in midwifery, from the University of California, San Diego. In addition, she has been elected as a fellow to the American College of Nurse-Midwives.
