Mackenzie Coffin, MD, is a pediatrician providing care to children of all ages. Dr. Coffin feels that the role of the physician is to be a compassionate guide for the patient and the patient’s family in the exploration and improvement of the patient’s condition, including physical, mental, and emotional health.
Her goal is to listen openly to the concerns that her patients and their families have, partner with them to decide on the most appropriate work-up and treatment plan, and maintain open communication throughout the process to ensure that their plan is as successful as possible.
Dr. Coffin believes that healthy minds lead to healthy bodies and healthy behaviors; her approach is one that addresses all aspects of health to provide comprehensive and thorough care. She enjoys getting to know not only the medical details about her patients, but also the unique qualities and characteristics that offer insight into their strengths, growth potentials, and life choices.
Dr. Coffin is passionate about empowering her patients and their families through education so that they feel confident and well-equipped to be responsible co-custodians of their children’s health.
In her spare time, Dr. Coffin enjoys beach runs, weight lifting, yoga, reading self-improvement books, playing piano, painting and spending time with family and friends.
