Carrie Chun, MD

As a pulmonologist, Carrie Chun, MD, provides diagnosis and treatment for a variety of lung diseases, including COPD, asthma, sarcoidosis, lung cancer and pulmonary embolism. She also has a special clinical interest in interstitial lung disease.

Dr. Chun believes the best doctor-patient relationships are developed through open communication. She seeks to partner with her patients and to provide them with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions about their treatment options.

As a faculty member of the Scripps Clinic and Scripps Green Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program, Dr. Chun specializes in providing physical examination and “code” simulation training to residents.

When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Chun enjoys tennis and spending time with her family.
