Scripps Receives Diabetes Grant

Monica Ruiz, community programs and research supervisor, Scripps Whittier Diabetes Institute was interviewed by Univision about the $250,000 grant given to Scripps Health by the McKesson Foundation. The funds will be used to test the effectiveness of using a mobile health application to improve the management of diabetes in a recently diagnosed diabetic Latino population.
