Free public event being held at Scripps La Jolla

A free seminar about ways to stop bleeding was the focus of multiple interviews with Walter Biffl, MD, on KUSI TV.


Dr. Biffl is trauma medical director at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla and will lead the March 31 seminar, which is free and open to the public.


During the interviews, Dr. Biffl demonstrated how to use a tourniquet and explained why it's important for everyone to learn how to stop bleeding during emergency situations.
