Bradley Patay, MD

Internal medicine specialist Bradley Patay, MD, strives to partner with his patients to provide personalized care. He is also the section head for the division of internal medicine at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines.

Dr. Patay provides comprehensive primary care to adolescents and adults with a special interest in genomics, systems biology, and endurance phenotype.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Patay contributes to the continuing medical education of fellow physicians and residents, using his expertise and interest in genomics to provide perspective on recent studies and journal articles for Medscape. He is also a clinical faculty member at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Patay also has a research focus on genomics and their relation to health. As a sub-investigator of the “Wellderly Study” he is working to identify genetic factors that may be linked to health maintenance.

Prior to receiving his medical degree, Dr. Patay attended the University of California, Berkeley where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated with honors in molecular cell biology and economics.
