Biography

A specialist in adult cancers and blood diseases, James Sinclair, MD, is an internal medicine, hematology, oncology, and hospice and palliative medicine physician. He is medical director of the Stevens Division of the Scripps Cancer Center.

 

Dr. Sinclair believes in whole-patient care. He works with his patients to create a holistic care plan that combines the best of evidence-based medicine with integrative therapies that have proven to benefit patients. He also focuses on active listening to provide his patients with the best care possible.

 

Dr. Sinclair has been practicing medicine since 1987. He is active in advancing cancer research through clinical trials, with a special interest in integrative approaches to cancer care that enhance quality of life. Dr. Sinclair enjoys hiking, biking, meditating, reading and spending time with his grandchildren.
