Michael Worsey, MD
Dr. Worsey received undergraduate degree from the University of Cambridge and his medical degree from St. Thomas’ Hospital, London, England in 1985.
He served his internship specializing in Surgery at St. Thomas Hospital and served his residency specializing in Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Additional colon and rectal training was at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Worsey was board certified in Surgery in 1998 and in Colon and Rectal Surgery in 1999.
Dr. Worsey has 58 papers, book chapters and presentations to his credit. He is currently a reviewer of papers submitted to Diseases of Colon and Rectal Surgery (journal of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons).
Dr. Worsey is also the director of the Bernard Lee Schwartz ano-rectal physiology laboratory.
