The hospital is centrally located off Interstate 5 at Genesee in La Jolla.

From Interstate 5

Take Genesee Avenue exit and turn east.
Go to first traffic light, turn right onto Scripps campus.

From Interstate 805

Take Miramar Road/La Jolla Village Drive exit and proceed west on La Jolla Village Drive.
Turn right onto Genesee Avenue.
Go one mile, turn left onto Scripps campus.

Parking

Designated parking for imaging services is located on the lower level II of the XiMED parking garage. Charge for parking is a $4 flat fee. Receive $1 off parking with validation from your referring physician’s office.

Visiting hours
8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

In general patient care units, visiting hours are 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. The main entrance is locked for security reasons from 9 p.m. - 5 a.m.

Intensive care
10:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
8:30 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Children under the age of ten are generally not allowed to visit, however, special arrangements may be made by speaking with the primary RN and the charge nurse. An adult must accompany all children. The visiting times, length of visit and number of visitors is individualized based on the care needs of the patient. Please refrain from using a cell phone to send and receive calls. For your convenience, pay phones are available in the ICU waiting room and front lobby. Plants, flowers or latex balloons are not allowed in the ICU. Patient family parking is available in the underground lot located in front of the hospital.

Women and Children's Center
Significant others: any time.

In the Women and Children's Center, significant others are welcome at any time. An adult must accompany children.
