COVID-19 update

Updated Aug. 20, 2021 — If you need a COVID-19 vaccination or if you are immunocompromised and believe you qualify for a booster vaccine, per CDC guidelines, please get your vaccine wherever available. Available options can be found at vaccines.gov


Boosters of the same type as the original vaccine are available now to immunocompromised people whose second Moderna or Pfizer shots were at least 28 days ago. No proof of eligibility is required for booster vaccines.

Convenient walk-in clinic for same-day care in Point Loma's Liberty Station

Scripps HealthExpress walk-in clinic in San Diego's Liberty Station provides care for minor illnesses and injuries. The clinic is for those 5 and older and is available 365 days a year, including evenings, weekends and holidays. 


Conveniently located between Vons and Trader Joe's in The Quarter District, HealthExpress is in Point Loma inside Scripps Clinic Liberty Station on the second floor. There is a dedicated check-in area.


HealthExpress providers offer same-day care for numerous communities in the Point Loma area, including Point Loma Heights, Sunset Cliffs, Ocean Beach, Loma Portal, Midway, La Playa, Roseville-Fleetridge, Naval Base Point Loma and Coronado.

Walk-in clinic services and payment options

Scripps HealthExpress accepts most health insurance plans, and your visit is billed as a primary care office visit (excluding sports physicals). If you are paying out-of-pocket or making a co-pay, we accept credit cards, cash and checks.
