Scripps is making improvements to our online health portal, called MyScripps. Patients enrolled in MyScripps will have access to new-and-improved features and functionality, including managing appointments, requesting prescription refills and paying bills online.
We are transitioning to the new billing system (Epic) in stages over the next year. In the meantime, please follow the guidelines below for paying your bill electronically.
Please note, when you use either online billing system you will not see bills from private practice physicians. These may include but are not limited to:
- Emergency room physicians
- Please continue paying your bill through our existing payment system
- We will announce the go live dates for these hospitals in the future
If you’ve received a bill following a doctor’s appointment or hospital stay, you may have questions about charges for certain expenses. Our patient billing representatives are here to help. You may call during business hours or email BillingInfo@scrippshealth.org at any time for assistance and clarification of your bill. All business office contact information is on the front of your statement under “Contact Us.”
Your medical insurance may cover all or part of your charges, but it’s up to you to ensure your account is paid in full.
