19th Annual Spinoff: Auction for Life, Wild, Wild West, Rounds Up $785,000 to Support Cancer Care
There was a bidding showdown at the 19th Annual Spinoff: Auction for Life, Wild, Wild West, on May 6, 2010, raising more than $785,000 to support cancer programs and minimally invasive surgery at Scripps Cancer Center, Stevens Division, at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.
More than 400 guests purchased hundreds of once-in-a-lifetime items during the live and silent auction event, including a weekend of luxury at a private Scottish Castle and the opportunity to attend a live taping of the Oprah Winfrey Show during its final season.
