Coast News Profiles Scripps Proton Therapy Expert Huan Giap, MD

The Coast News recently published a profile on Huan Giap, MD, radiation oncologist at the Scripps Proton Therapy Center. Dr. Giap serves as the center’s chief of breast, gastrointestinal and lung proton beam therapy. Proton therapy effectively kills tumors while sparing more of patients’ healthy tissue than conventional X-ray therapy.
