Over the Holidays, California Couple Celebrates the Gift of Proton Therapy

The Record Searchlight newspaper recently published an article about longtime Redding, Calif. residents Joyce and Joe Hampton, who both underwent cancer treatments at Scripps Proton Therapy Center.

Proton therapy is an extremely precise form of radiation treatment that effectively kills tumors, while sparing more of a patient’s healthy tissue than conventional X-ray radiation.
