Description
This class will help new parents gain skills for caring for their newborn. It is taught by a Scripps perinatal educator who will discuss important topics such as newborn behavior, characteristics, development, and keeping baby well. Demonstrations will include diapering, swaddling, holding, bathing, and comforting your newborn.
We recommend you take this class after approximately 32 weeks of your pregnancy. Please have available a doll or teddy bear, a diaper, and a swaddling blanket to practice during class.
Expectant partners are encouraged to attend together – one registration per couple is required.
This virtual webinar is available via MS Teams. We recommend that you download the app or use the web version. An email will be sent once payment has been received with the URL and instructions.
