Dr. Eric Topol Profiled as GQ Rock Star of Science on Fox 5

Scripps Health Chief Academic Officer Eric Topol, MD, is part of a new national public service campaign that gives the star treatment to the world of science. Appearing in the June 2009 issue of GQ magazine, the campaign pairs musical celebrities such as Seal, Sheryl Crow and Will.i.am with 11 scientists from the nation’s leading research institutions.

The campaign spotlights the need for greater funding for medical research and also aims to make science a more attractive career choice for tomorrow’s stars.
