Dr. Tomer Anbar Discusses Chronic Pain Program with KPBS Radio

Tomer Anbar, PhD, clinical director of Scripps Mercy’s Chronic Pain Rehabilitation Program, was interviewed by KPBS Radio for a story on the different facets of the chronic pain program. In the interview, Dr. Anbar shared information on this program’s unique approach to the treatment of chronic pain syndrome, as well as the many components of the program, including cognitive therapy, biofeedback sessions, physical therapy and a nutrition education program. As the adoption of an anti-inflammatory diet is a lesser-known but highly effective tool for treating chronic pain syndrome, the nutrition education component was heavily featured in this story.
