Celebration Marks Start of Expansion Project at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas

Hospital officials, civic leaders and volunteers from the community celebrated yesterday the start of a $200 million expansion project at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.


The construction plan includes doubling the size of the emergency department, new critical care facilities, a parking garage and other improvements to serve the local community’s health care needs.
