A story in the Feb. 17, 2011 San Diego Union-Tribune describes how Scripps doctors have developed a new iPad app to help Padres’ trainers keep better track of pitchers’ day-to-day health. The goal is to spot trends and intervene where necessary to avoid or minimize injuries and maximize on-field performance.
