Scripps Patient Shares Near Death Experience

Scripps former patients, Deb Foster, was featured on the Barbara Walters special “Heaven – Where is It? How Do We Get There?” which re-aired on July 6, 2012. Several years ago, Deb had a near death experience after giving birth and then having an amniotic fluid embolism – an extremely rare event that is often fatal. Deb was actually clinically dead for a few minutes before being brought back, and on the program she shares what she experienced during that time.
