Scripps Celebrates National Hospital Volunteer Week

They restock shelves, play piano, sew baby blankets, drive golf carts, deliver mail and do so much more – all to make a difference and give back to the community!


They are the more than 2,000 volunteers at Scripps Health who were honored for their selfless acts, hard work, and relentless dedication during National Hospital Volunteer Week, April 21 through 27. In total, Scripps volunteers contributed a whopping 213,546 hours of uncompensated time in 2012.
