Scripps CEO Discusses Fiscal Challenges Facing Hospitals

With hospitals across the country facing sequestration cuts and reductions in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements, Scripps Health President and CEO Chris Van Gorder recently told two San Diego reporters how the health system is finding ways to reduce unnecessary costs and boost efficiency while preserving jobs and improving the quality of care delivered to patients.
