Researcher and Survivor Team Up on New Ovarian Cancer Study

Scripps Clinic pathologist Kelly Bethel, M.D. appeared on the KUSI Morning News to discuss a new research study aimed at spotting ovarian cancer relapses earlier than previously possible. The study uses innovative technology to identify and analyze circulating tumor cells in the blood stream. The study is partially funded by ovarian cancer survivor Joan Wyllie and her support organization, Nine Girls Ask for a Cure for Ovarian Cancer.

As seen on KUSI.
