Scripps Clinic neurologist and associate director of the Dalessio Headache Center Emily Rubenstein Engel, MD, spoke to the U-T San Diego regarding the effects of caffeine on headaches.
In her interview, Dr. Engel discussed the need to drink coffee and other caffeinated products only in moderation, as well as the importance of staying on a regular sleep schedule, not going hungry and keeping a consistent level of stress in order to reduce the frequency of headaches and migraines.
