San Diego County is Prepared for Outbreak
Scripps Infectious Disease Specialist Gonzalo Ballon-Landa, MD, was interviewed by FOX 5 News reporter Misha DiBono regarding preparations that are in place to combat an Ebola outbreak.
According to Dr. Ballon-Landa, San Diego is better equipped than most cities to handle an infectious disease outbreak. However, he did stress that the likelihood of an Ebola outbreak in San Diego is extremely small.
