With concerns about Ebola remaining high in the San Diego area and across the country, Scripps Health Chief Medical Officer James LaBelle, MD, discussed the health system’s enhanced protocol for personal protective equipment worn by clinicians delivering care to an Ebola patient.


The standards mirror those used by Doctors Without Borders in Africa, he told KUSI News.


In another interview with CBS News 8, Dr. LaBelle addressed some of the myths surrounding how Ebola is spread from one person to another.
