KPBS Spotlights Scripps Cancer Survivor Robin Rady as 'Local Hero' in May

KPBS has named Robin Rady as one of its “Local Heroes” for Jewish American Heritage Month in May. Rady, a breast cancer survivor who received her care at Scripps, created an organizer notebook for her medical records during her care. Based on how helpful it was for her and on positive feedback from her care team, Rady has gone on to create thousands of these notebooks to help newly diagnosed cancer patients.
