Scripps patient Philippe May embarked on cross-country race after treatment for heart problem
A video on the Facebook page for the Race Across America (RAAM) organization tells the story of how Scripps Clinic cardiologist John Rogers, MD, got Philippe May back on the road after the world-class athlete was sidelined last year by a newly discovered heart condition.
The story is part of a daily video report recently filed by RAAM during the 3,000-mile cross-country cycling race.
