Scripps Health Chief Medical Officer James LaBelle, MD, was quoted in a recent article in the fall edition of the North County Business Journal exploring the effect of the region’s growing baby boomer population.


Since many Baby Boomers suffer from multiple chronic conditions, their health care can be more complicated, Dr. LaBelle said. That is forcing health systems to become more efficient.
