Scripps CMO Weighs in on Baby Boomer Growth in North County
James LaBelle, MD, says health systems must become more efficient
Scripps Health Chief Medical Officer James LaBelle, MD, was quoted in a recent article in the fall edition of the North County Business Journal exploring the effect of the region’s growing baby boomer population.
Since many Baby Boomers suffer from multiple chronic conditions, their health care can be more complicated, Dr. LaBelle said. That is forcing health systems to become more efficient.
The North County Business Journal article, which begins on page 11: Golden Oldies, is no longer available.
