Scripps Health recently held its 36th annual Clinical Hematology and Oncology Conference in San Diego, where cancer doctors from across the country gathered to discuss recent research advances and practical ways to incorporate them into patient care.

The San Diego Union-Tribune covered the conference and reported on San Diego cancer patient Ginny van Hespen, who is responding remarkably well after being enrolled in an immunotherapy clinical trial at Scripps Clinic.
