Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Rod Carew announces a major milestone in his recovery from a massive heart attack last fall and implant of a mechanical heart pump at Scripps Health’s Prebys Cardiovascular Institute. The baseball legend will update his medical journey during a press conference that also marks the one-year anniversary of the opening of the institute.
