Scripps patient Scott Fitzgerald was recently featured in Ivanhoe Broadcast News, a medical news service, where he credited the use of the Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) for keeping him alive while he waited for a heart transplant. He has also been featured on 10News and San Diego Magazine.
