Scripps Encinitas Philanthropist To Be Recognized For History of Service

Local philanthropist Sandy Marriott Bertha has been named the recipient of the 14th Annual Distinguished Achievement Award for her longtime support of Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas. The Del Mar Times featured Bertha in a story about her extensive charitable work here and abroad.

Bertha will be honored later this month at a fundraiser to benefit the launch of the Newborn Safe Sleep Center at the Leichtag Birth Pavilion at Scripps Encinitas.
