U-T recognizes Dr. Carson for lifetime of achievements

John C. Carson, MD, a longtime cardiologist at Scripps Health who died recently, was remembered in a story in The San Diego Union-Tribune. Dr. Carson, who practiced at Scripps for more than 50 years, was recognized for many achievements, including being one of the last physicians in San Diego to make house calls. The former chief of staff at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla was 92.
