Singer joins others in making donations to Scripps hospitals
Grammy winner Lizzo recently surprised physicians, nurses and staff at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla when she donated lunch to them as a thank you for their tireless work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The singer’s generosity generated media coverage after she posted a video about the donation to her Instagram feed, where she has more than 8.5 million followers.
