Early results from Pfizer’s clinical trial of an mRNA-based coronavirus vaccine are encouraging, but more data is needed to fully evaluate the potential effectiveness of the inoculation, Scripps Health Corporate Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Ambulatory and Accountable Care Anil Keswani, MD, said in a recent interview with Fox 5 News.
Dr. Keswani also is co-chair of a committee at Scripps that is evaluating all the potential coronavirus vaccines that are undergoing clinical trials.
