Local media covered the inspiring story of Noemi Doohan, MD, who recently went from serving as a front-line COVID caregiver at Scripps, to being a cancer patient in need of treatment herself. But even while undergoing therapy, Dr. Doohan still contributed to patient care by taking part in an important clinical trial at Scripps MD Anderson Cancer Center.
