Local news outlets covered a free skin cancer screening event for ocean lifeguards, hosted by Scripps MD Anderson Cancer Center. Hugh Greenway, MD, shared practical steps people can take to keep their skin safe, and the importance of detecting skin cancers early. Dr. Greenway is medical director of dermatologic surgery at Scripps MD Anderson Cancer Center and is a Scripps Clinic physician.
