Just because patients and employees filled Scripps Health hospitals on Thanksgiving day didn’t mean they had to go without enjoying a traditional holiday meal.

Scripps Food and Nutrition Services staff worked for several days to prepare meals featuring turkey, French cut green beans, mashed potatoes and other fixings so that everyone in the hospitals could have a taste of holiday spirit, according to a recent report by KPBS.
