Family medicine physician Jennifer Chronis, MD, provides comprehensive primary care services for all ages, from newborns to geriatrics. Dr. Chronis focuses on preventive care, with expertise in integrative medicine, women’s health and behavioral health. Using an integrative approach, Dr. Chronis is able to treat chronic conditions with a wide variety of healing modalities, ranging from mind-body techniques, stress management, nutrition and supplements.
Dr. Chronis believes that lifestyle is often the main contributor to a person’s health and to many diseases and conditions. Her aim is to get to know each patient personally and learn the details of their lives, so that they can then work together to make holistic, incremental changes that will lead to improved health and well-being.
Dr. Chronis is passionate about nutrition and cooking plant-based meals, so outside of the office you can often find her in the kitchen. She also enjoys being active and outside in the beautiful San Diego weather, including camping. practicing yoga, playing tennis, swimming, hiking and occasionally snowboarding to keep her fit and healthy.
