Alexandria (Alexa) Li, MD, is an ophthalmologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical and surgical retinal conditions, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases, epiretinal membrane, macular hole and retinal detachment.
Dr. Li believes it is important to understand each patient's unique needs and concerns. She is fully committed to providing compassionate, individualized patient care and treating each patient as if they were a family member.
Dr. Li has co-authored more than a dozen peer-reviewed publications in notable ophthalmology journals and has studied applications of artificial intelligence with optical coherence tomography imaging. During her fellowship, she was awarded the Outstanding Teaching Award in recognition of her contribution and dedication to residency education.
In her free time, Dr. Li enjoys traveling, playing pickleball, hiking, dabbling in gardening and exploring new cultures.
