How to refer to Scripps maternal-fetal medicine specialists

The maternal and fetal medicine team at Scripps Health delivers the highest quality of perinatal care every day. Our goal is to provide patients with compassionate and comprehensive care, which is accomplished by creating a strong partnership with our patients, their family members and their referring physicians. Our maternal-fetal medicine physicians in San Diego provide consultations and second opinions to women across California and around the world. We welcome MFM referrals from any medical provider including obstetricians and gynecologists.

We offer comprehensive, individualized and compassionate care, and jointly follow the patient with the referring physician, providing frequent communication throughout the pregnancy.

Scripps Perinatal Center comprises an established, multidisciplinary panel of perinatologists, cardiologists, endocrinologist and neonatologist who are nationally recognized as leaders in their field. Our practice involves evidence-based clinical perinatal medicine, education and research.
