AGENT Drug Coated Balloon Trial for Coronary Artery Disease

Inclusion Criteria

Patients must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
    Be eligible for percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
    Be willing to comply with all protocol required follow-up evaluations.
    Meet angiographic inclusion criteria, which includes minimum vessel diameter and lesion length.

Exclusion Criteria

Patients must not:

  • Be participating in another investigational drug or device clinical study.
    Have had PCI or other coronary interventions within the last 30 days.
    Have a planned PCI or a Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) after the index procedure.
    Have had a Myocardial Infarction (MI) or Heart Attack.
    Have renal insufficiency or failure of kidneys requiring dialysis.

Additional Info

Patients will be randomized (like the flip of a coin) to the device group and will receive treatment with the AGENT Drug Coated Balloon, OR the control subjects and will receive standard of care PCI with a Drug Eluting Stent (DES).
