Michael G. Bark of Scripps Health Earns Fellow Credential from American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE)

SAN DIEGO – Michael G. Bark, senior director of payer contracting at Scripps Health, has earned his fellow credential from The American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). The credential signifies board certification in the field of healthcare management.


Fellowship status recognizes ACHE members who have provided distinguished service in the health care field. The credentialing system is multi-faceted and includes academic achievement, health care management experience, tenure as an ACHE affiliate, continuing education, references and community and civic involvement.


Bark attended UC Irvine where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1986. He continued his education at USC where he earned a Master of Healthcare Administration degree in 1989. Bark currently resides in Mission Beach and has been with Scripps for over 14 years.
